It’s beautiful and hard and everything in between- physically, mentally, spiritually, especially during this time. This is me 8 weeks postpartum, healing, nursing, bonding with this sweet soul and feeling it all. Feeling the strength of my body and mind, the happiness and joy looking into Finnlyn’s eyes and seeing the love Justin and Everest have for her, and the frustration when Everest wakes her up right when she falls asleep 🤣. Feeling the intensity of the times, insecurities about my body, mood swings. Feeling the deep gratitude for family and friends I have while missing my Mom and Iris and wishing they were here. Wishing we could be close and not quarantined from those we love but so damn grateful to be healthy and alive with a healthy family and an amazing, supportive community with you all. Overall I am allowing all of the feelings and really proud of myself and this body that has birthed two babies and proud to be a woman and a Mother. It takes a whole lot of courage, patience and strength to be pregnant and give birth and it is such a time of deep transformation.
