ICYMI here is some info about the podcast “Black stories are a vital part of Black healing. That Black healing is an essential part of the world’s healing.  Our stories are medicine, and contain technology often overlooked in spaces that have actively decentered Black bodies and voices. My Black Body Podcast will counter the white narrative that continues to dominate conversations about body liberation. As we share our own words, experiences and stories, we can start to unravel the trauma that centuries of whitewashing our narratives has created. Rawiyah Tariq and Jessica Wilson, MS. RD. will bring the wit and wisdom cultivated in their own Queer Black bodies together with the accounts of others’ to facilitate cultural healing and embodiment.   In order for this podcast to begin full production and become sustainable Rawiyah and Jessica are seeking a full year’s funding for their dedication, creativity, passion and labor. See these slides for more details, a sound sample, and sponsorship information, or go directly to our website or PayPal to donate. Thanks in advance for your support of this project. Your investment makes sure that Black women lead conversations about body liberation and get paid for their labor. Our stories are interwoven. They deserve to be told, preserved and protected. “」9月8日 2時50分 - _annapaquin
