Despite the insane heat, I made it out today with @ジョディ・スウィーティン @harper_behar @refusefascismla, @refusefascism, @revcoms, @ganjajonla, @honeybeaneileen, @moneefa, @gangsta_lynne, @publicstatementapparel, and @yogawithdre to protest. I am unbelievably inspired by Jodie’s leadership, passion, and dedication. I’ve always been someone that believes that we, as humans, need to stand together and protect each other and I’m so grateful that Jodie got me out again today to put my money where my mouth is. And the fact that my badass oldest daughter insisted on coming out with us made me beyond proud. As a Jew, I was taught about the holocaust. I had family exterminated in it. The words ‘never again’ were repeated to me over and over again. Those words and that sentiment could not be more appropriate right now. I refuse to stay silent.
