“I’ll miss going to school. I’ll miss studying, and I’ll miss spending time with teachers.” Eight-year-old Hanan’s school was damaged by the Beirut blasts and she doesn’t know when it will open again. At least 163 schools were damaged by the explosions – impacting over 70,000 students and 7,600 teachers. Many children have already missed out on education because of #COVID19. Now they might not have a school to go back to at all. UNICEF urgently needs funds to rebuild and repair schools.
