I shared some of this video with my Facebook Supporters last week and thought y'all might get a kick out of it too.

Sometimes I'm asked to submit what's called a "self tape" which is an audition that an actor tapes themselves (in a studio when possible) and sends in. It used to be rare and mainly when an actor was out of town (but has become much more common with better cell phone cameras and now with COVID).

I was asked to do a self tape about a year ago for a Hulu series that ended up not getting picked up. I can't share the audition because of confidentiality on the project. But I can share the "slate" that I did.

If you are familiar at all with TV filming, you might know a slate is a clapperboard that is used to mark the start of a scene so they can easily find it when working on editing. It's also a term used for when an actor submits an audition and gives his name, height, and weight.

They are usually a bit boring, but...hope you enjoy!

(p.s. to Supporters...if you watched before, this has an additional take included!)
