We spent some time in the studio and went back and forth on a few different ideas, but nothing really happened until I sent him this Super Metroid live cover / remix of mine which he liked and immediately agreed to add vocals to. It's a huge honor to collaborate with such an incredible artist, thanks T-Pain! This is the "Lower Brinstar" theme from the iconic 1994 Nintendo SNES game. I tracked my part live, playing all the sounds simultaneously. T-Pain then wrote lyrics and added some awesome vocals and harmonies in his signature style. I decided to release this track together with my other video game covers as well as originals that I performed in YouTube videos.
