Watching these beautiful creatures coddle their babies and protect their own, I never thought I’d be able to experience this in my lifetime. We are so far removed from the real world, it’s important to remember we need to care for every living creature. It’s very rare to see a silverback gorilla, as the silver is a sign of maturity, not the species. And they were put on the endangered species list due to the damage of their habitat. @gorillatrekkinginbwindi gives back to helping support their habitat and the communities around Rwanda, Uganda, and the Congo helping with education and water supply!
