I had just spent 5 days huddled in a two person portaledge on K7 w @コンラッド・アンカー and @brady_robinson. We had been pasted to the wall waiting out the storm. With our escape gulley being hammered by spindrift avalanches we had no chance of moving. We were conserving energy so didn’t talk much in those five days. It gave us plenty of time to ponder life’s important questions. Tangled in those questions were whether we push ahead or retreat when the storm cleared. Sometimes the relief just comes from making a decision. Down it was. @ザ・ノースフェイス
