We were in #StIves last week and they have some lovely ye olde windy streets lined with tiny little shops that I knew you’d love! . We actually decided to go at 9am in the pouring rain because it was the quietest time for them. The rest of the week the streets seemed so crowded (funny what we notice in 2020 that we’d never have cared about in 2019 eh?) so we just stayed away. . Re the shell shop - I’d popped in the night before on my own and asked the lady behind the til what the situation was with the shells. I don’t know much about the shell industry but I do remember when I was a child my Dad seeing coral in a shop and being really upset because it was endangered. The lady said the shells are a bi-product of the food industry and that they don’t sell sea horses. This seemed like a good answer to me but I’m no sealife official so open to an expert correcting me or shedding more light. If it was a good answer though (like I thought it was), hurrah! Shells are gorgeous!🐚 . We’re home now and cosied up but I’ll always remember our rainy dash through the winding streets! Does it remind you a bit of a seaside Diagon Alley? Xxx」8月31日 19時40分
