It’s World Iron Awareness Week so I’ve cooked my favourite meal, Roast Lamb for my flat. When I was younger I often had very low iron, now I am able to stabilise and keep my iron levels boosted through the support from my nutrition team and beef + Lamb. Eating the right types of foods, including iron-rich foods can help any sportsperson achieve their goals. Iron is also important for fighting fatigue, immunity and carrying oxygen around the body.
