If you’re a 1,500 pound moose there’s no better way to shake off the summer heat than a good swim. Moose are among the largest animals in North America and here in Colorado, they’re more of a rare sight than your average grazing animal. I photographed this beautiful female here in a small pond at the foot of Mt Bierstadt.
