Rare footage of the day we made “Dance With You”. Fun fact: At the time, I had only just met Rishi and I was unsigned -I hadn’t even fully settled on a stage name yet. At the end of this video you hear me call my self Jay Soul. That was the name we went with before deciding on Jay Sean. 😜😝 🤯I had written to the track that @rishirich was tweaking in this video. The song was called “In the Middle” at the time, and this is the moment @therealjuggyd walked into the studio and started filming us doin our thing. Shortly after he started free styling over the same beat (just after my little freestyle at the end of this video hahah) and me and Rishi were both like “yo juggs go put that down in the booth right now!” The result was a song called “Dance with you” which went on to make history and change the musical landscape not only in the UK, but globally.
