A friend of mine just framed this work in Paris- turns out I made and gave it to her 19 years ago, during what I assumed- was my first or second year in Architecture school. I have no idea what the #painting is about or what the context is- but for sure I was really in love with the works of Artists like #GeorgeBaselitz, #RichardDiebenkorn, and #seanScully at the time and I still love them. To prove to me I did it- she took photo of the signature! I don’t sign my name like that at all these days but it definitely says “Acuna ‘01”. In a parallel universe I may / would have been a painter. Who knows? Love this.
