On Saturday I was in absolute pieces when it looked like The Cheeks was about to slip away from me...However, by some miracle of cat kind he has managed to pull through and is now purring again!! I realised over the weekend just how fragile he is now that he’s 16 and how quickly he could suddenly decline. I realised the absolute enormity of my love for him ( as if that was ever in any doubt 😻 ) and also just how fortunate I feel to have him around and about again, frail as he is, for a bit longer than I thought imaginable on Saturday afternoon.
