Happy birthday to Peggy Guggenheim, born #OnThisDay in 1898! 🎉 A groundbreaking figure in the art world, Peggy used to say that it was her duty to encourage and support the art of her own time—she devoted half of her life to this mission, as well as to the creation of The Peggy Guggenheim Collection (@guggenheim_venice) in Venice, Italy.
