Wildfires sparked by lighting and heatwaves struck California this week. Two of the fires burning around the Bay Area are now the second and third largest in the state’s history. With more than 1.1 million acres of land torched as of this morning, the tireless efforts of firefighters continue. More than 13,000 firefighters have been battling the flames, including some on 24-hour shifts.
