Systems of oppression exacerbate and define our public health crises.

Black people are dying at disproportionate rates of COVID-19. We’ve been made vulnerable through decades of unequal access to health care, and we’re made vulnerable every time a doctor dismisses us because they don’t believe our symptoms.

When we fight for #BlackLivesMatter, we’re fighting all the different components of systemic racism. Making sure no more Black lives are taken at the hands of the police is the bare minimum.
