As an educated tax payer who travels the country and world and who lives in a diverse city, people think that bc I’m on TV that I couldn’t POSSIBLY understand life... but that they for SURE get it. No matter your side, the other side wants you to argue till you are exhausted so they can just play defense and poke holes. I wrote what I wrote and I didn’t do it for clout, you notice there aren’t any mega celebrities chiming in on my page. Just real people, real fans... and a few whimsical trolls. We all have a right to voice our opinions. So telling me to shut up goes against that whole 1st Amendment thing, that constitution you defend. Weird how so many people are willing to go to the mat on the 2nd but feel the 1st shouldn’t be extended to all... We all vote based on the realities of where we live. Me voting Democrat bc I live in LA is just as valid as a farmer in Nebraska voting conservative. Thank God for local elections. We all vote based on what’s important to us. What’s weird is how livid people get when they find out that you’re a person with your own views. I stay out of politics normally because, frankly, both sides are insane and the truth is hard to find. Democrats picked apart all of our candidates- and, low and behold, we ended up with Biden. And the far right well... i don’t need to elucidate you on that. I always want a purple audience at my shows because I believe we have more common ground than differences. Follow, unfollow. Unfollow then refollow. I really enjoyed rebutting all the comments on the political post - but the truth is I said my piece and that was that. So I’m disabling comments here. Pay to see me do crowd work if you want. I speak and I write and people listen. That’s my job. And didn’t say anything that was untrue and peoples’ inability to comprehend facts stated versus what they infer based on their agenda is a truly scary thing. A dangerous thing. An endless straw man argument. The environment should be a top priority and it isn’t - and it terrifies me. I don’t equivocate and I stand firm in my beliefs. And I expect you to stand firm in yours.
