🎆 Fireworks close out this week's Democratic National Convention. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, joined by their spouses Jill Biden and Douglas Emhoff, walked out to a socially distant tailgate in Wilmington, Delaware as the unconventional convention came to an end. The Chase Center's parking lot looked like a summertime drive-in movie theater, with people waving Biden signs and American flags from convertibles or sunroofs and watching the final night on a large screen outside. The outdoor celebration followed Biden’s speech accepting the 2020 Democratic nomination for president. “May history be able to say that the end of this chapter of American darkness began here, tonight,” he concluded his speech.
