My sister @kaitlinvilasuso told me a few weeks ago that her and her amazing husband @jordivilasuso were expecting their third baby. When I tell you I already fell in love with that beautiful baby, I mean it. Complications started to hit, and as I left LA to leave for work in Vancouver I remember hugging my sister so tight and giving her belly a little kiss, a moment that especially during this time I’m so grateful for. A few days into being away from home, Katie called me to tell me that she lost the baby. This is her story to tell, and she has opened up about it today on her instagram. I ask that you please take a moment to go read, to go share some love, to pass along to anyone that you may know that has had to or is going through this... I thought miscarriages were like the movies- but let me tell you something they aren’t, and watching it unfold through the screen of my phone while on ft with my sister seeing her go through this has left me speechless with an even more precious outlook on life. My sister has always left me in awe of her strength, kindness, faith, love and need to make sure she’s always living with pure honesty and grace. I am hopeful that her words and candidness into allowing others into this journey with her will hopefully touch someone’s heart who has felt this loss or know someone who has before.
