The Michelin Man has been an advertising icon since 1894. We thought we’d take a trip through our archives and share some of our favorite classic Michelin memorabilia. First up, this poster of the Michelin Man riding a motorcycle, originally designed and printed for the Italian market at Verga Printers in Milano, 1959. Interestingly, Michelin first patented the concept of radial tires in 1946, but radial motorcycle tires didn’t actually hit the market until the 1980’s.
