There’s no wrong way to relax, but we’ve got a few favorites. ⠀

💚 Pause for a moment: Let the tension out of your body and breathe. Is your forehead clenched? What about your jaw?⠀
💚 Do something with your hands (not on a computer or phone). From gardening to journaling, this is a great way to connect your mind and body in a positive way. ⠀
💚 Do something creative: It doesn’t matter if it’s something you’re really good at or a skill you’re just learning. Painting, cooking, crafting … it’s healthy to remind yourself you’re an active force, not just a passive presence in this world.⠀
💚 STRETCH (anything counts)⠀
💚 Step away from your screens for a while and turn off your mental to-do list. You need a break.⠀
💚 Get some fresh air. You guessed it; this one’s our favorite! We do what we do because we believe in the restorative power of nature. Whether it be a few steps from your own front door or deep in the backcountry, getting outside makes a huge difference in your mental and physical health.⠀
