Growing up I had no self esteem. I used to be so embarrassed about my body, my psoriasis or what other ppl thought of how I looked. I used to be embarrassed to go anywhere without makeup. I used to care so much about other people’s opinion of me. Today I had this realization of how much I have changed. Not necessarily physically, but mentally. The biggest change was my mindset. These past couple of years I made the promise to myself to put myself first, to accept who I was, to embrace that and love me for me. The people who don’t support me, or contribute to my growth are no longer parts of my life. Its still a work in progress honestly. But today I am happy to say that I am a much more confident woman, who doesn’t care about the opinions of others and is just doing her own thing. And it’s honestly so liberating.
