The Prince of Wales has been Patron of the society since 2011 and is himself a keen gardener. This year’s theme is #growingforhealthandwellbeing - which, like Dumfries House’s education programme for schools, reflects the many benefits of growing, cooking and eating your own fruit and vegetables. A video competition was held for people of all ages, inviting them to show off their allotments to the world.
