Not an easy one at all but when we have been rejected by another there is a moment where we can dig down so deep and look at what that rejection has brought up. Usually it’ll trigger our worst fears about ourselves which are founded in little truth. Then we have the opportunity to build ourselves back up and feel accepting of every bit of ourselves without outside adulation/acceptance/praise. We all have a good side and not so good side and all of it is ok. There is little point pretending otherwise. Accepting the good and the bad is probably our quickest route to mental peace.
