I told her that might not be possible, since it was a bit last minute, but we could look into it. ⠀ ⠀ We talked to @luonlineacademy and they were super-encouraging and helpful, but when we laid out the plan, it looked pretty intimidating. She would be taking all of her classes for both her JR and SR years together, so a very full load. ⠀ ⠀ I told her she could try it, but if it got too hard or too overwhelming then it was okay if half way through the year she decided too just go back to her Jr year as usual. No shame in trying. Honestly I though she might finish early but not a full year early, maybe she’d still be taking classes this fall and finish at Christmas, a semester early would be good. ⠀ ⠀ But not this girl, she did it!! There were bumps in the road, she had to make some shifts, dropped a class then picked it back up later, changed her strategy when she needed to along the way. ⠀ ⠀ She worked really, really hard, lots of time at the coffee shop and late nights in her room and now she has her diploma and she’s starting college in 2 weeks (with a full semester of college credit thanks to dual enrollment!)⠀ ⠀ So very proud of you Bella, not just because you’re smart (which you are) but because you set your mind to something, you work hard, and you don’t give up until you get it done.
