She climbed her way through adversity, pain, loss and struggle; and I can tell you from speaking to her, her biggest driving force was all of you. All of you survivors who looked up to her as a beacon of hope. She wanted to show you all that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Daisy gave this work all that she possibly could. To everyone who has been following her journey, you can not let this discourage you. That is not what Daisy would have wanted. To honor her, let’s continue sharing her heart of healing. Let’s support each other. Continue building our community of holding each other up and believing survivors. That’s what she would want. For us to continue her work. Together.
