Welcome back to Planet Earth

After a historic two-month mission to the @国際宇宙ステーション, retired Marine Corps Col. @astro.doug and Robert Benkhen splashed down Sunday aboard @spacex’s Crew Dragon Endeavour.

The spacecraft is seen here being lifted onto the SpaceX GO Navigator recovery ship shortly after landing in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Pensacola, Florida.

Before joining @NASA, Col. Hurley was a Marine Corps fighter and test pilot.

This #LaunchAmerica mission marks the return of human spaceflight from U.S. soil for the first time since 2011.
