The Elijah McClain story really touched me, I was very reluctant to do music at this time about anything gearing toward the protest because I just felt like I could do more than drop a song, but when I read this story it reminded me so much of me it really brought me to tears. I’m not street guy or trapper or anything like that, just normal black kid who loves music and arts, so to hear about Elijah really hit home. I put a few bars together not for Spotify or apple just to release and pay my respects to this genius kid. “Elijah” prod.
