With that said I think it’s incredibly important to understand the meaning behind a movement as to not overshadow it’s purpose. I wanted to share the faces of two women who can not partake in this challenge as they were both murdered at the hands of horrible humans and governments that simply aren’t taking action in a meaningful way. There is no justice to this day for #breonnataylor here in the United States. Pinar’s story from Turkey is sadly the one that stemmed this challenge due to how often a black and white photo of a women murdered appears on the news in Turkey. I encourage all of the amazing women in my life and feed to continue to empower and inspire each other but to also know Pinar’s story. Say her name, share her story and the person behind this movement while partaking in this challenge accompanied by your beautiful faces.
