#challengeaccepted Origin of this challenge is fighting femicide and domestic violence as happening in Turkey today. #turkishwomenmatter Thank you to the many phenomenal women in my life. My mother, no longer here, was one of them. She taught me “you can if you think you can”. She told me that women are a community and we must support and help one another. She taught me that words are valuable and we must use them wisely. I am surrounded by loyal, hard-working, Women who believe in the values of respect and change. We educate one another, we help one another, and we mentor one another. Thank you to all my dear women friends. (Including my 🌈’s!) As a tribute to you all, I’ll share this poem from one of my favorite phenomenal women, Maya Angelou. Phenomenal Woman

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I’m telling lies.
I say,
It’s in the reach of my arms,
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,

I walk into a room

The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
