I also saw the hashtag #womensupportingwomen and I am all for that, but how and what was posting a selfie helping? It had to be a black&white selfie so I thought maybe that was meant to represent the unity of Black and White people coming together to demand justice and equality? I’m all for that too...but how was this helping? Thankfully just as I received beautiful “nominations” from my sweet friends, with lovely words that really made me feel good ...so I would like to say thank you @donnakaranthewoman @irenamedavoy @elisadistefanotv @francestownsend @lorraine_antonetti I loved getting your letters and it made me feel so good to be included. In fact it reminded me to touch base with many friends that I need to catch up with so I’m going to send a few missives myself just to let my friends know How much I appreciate them. But back to the challenge ... I just came across this explanation that answers all my questions and informed me about an issue I knew nothing about so I’m choosing to post this black and white message that explains what this campaign is all about. Now I finally get what the the picture is meant to represent too.... that God forbid, it could be your picture in a paper as a victim of domestic violence. I hope the government in #turkey🇹🇷 understands the women of the world are watching them now and they better protect the Turkish women from violence of any kind.
