Was sad to hear about the recent passing of legendary Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto. One of my all time favorite dresses was the result of a collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Kansai.
His aesthetic was “Basara” which means “dress freely” and his designs were joyful, wildly creative and full of life.
Nicolas Ghesquiere captured his spirit in this exhuberant collection using Kansai’s bold graphics in a very modern way. ⛩🎎🎏
