Iris Van Herpeさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Iris Van HerpeInstagram)「Collaboration creates community ~ For our ‘Ludi Naturae’ collection Iris van Herpen collaborated with Dutch artist Peter Gentenaar who is known for capturing organic memory and motion in his delicate large-scale cellulose sculptures, bringing the structures of cocoons to mind. For this show, Gentenaar created an amorphous floating installation that blossoms around the garments as the models move. Gentenaar creates bamboo structures as his sculpture’s skeletons in forms such as trapezium’s and triangles, mirroring the spine of a leaf. As the wet pulp dries around the bamboo frameworks it begins to shrink and curl, just as a leaf when it drys. The pigment is used to colour the bamboo only, to then ooze naturally into the pulp, giving the sculptures a glazed look.
