And it got me thinking once again about how all we ever see about Iran in the media is this negative image tainted by politics. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But the news and media never paint the whole picture. They only show one tiny fraction of a country. They focus on governments and politicians, but rarely on the rest of the people or the beautiful culture of a place. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I experienced nothing but warmth, kindness and hospitality from Iranians during my 2 weeks there. And I’ve yet to meet another person who’s been to Iran who disagrees with me on that. What’s more - the culture, history and architecture there are simply incredible. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But you never see that on the news. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This page isn’t about politics and I’m far from a political expert, so let’s steer away from that.
