Photo by @gabrielegalimbertiphoto and @jurideluca - Fossils of long-extinct creatures aren’t just for museums. Today there’re in homes and businesses, as wealthy collectors indulge a controversial hobby. Udine, Italy. Stefano Piccini (54), paleontologist and business man, while playing pool in his house with his son Riccardo (11). His daughter Amalia (13) is using her phone while sitting on the couch. In this room, Stefano keeps a T-Rex skull cast made from the famous T-Rex Sue, which is one of the largest, most extensive, and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex specimens ever found. Stefano also owns a real skull of triceratops, a full fossil of Ichthyosaurus and many other little fossils. #dinosaur #fossil #extinct #dinosaurs
