@johnhill is a “YouTuber”... It’s odd that skate culture is divided into factions. When I was younger, living in Missouri, moving to Nebraska... man... you had to search high and low for anyone, I mean anyone who skated. When you found them it was like... “you skate?” “Yup” “okay then, let’s go skate, we’re friends.” It’s interesting to think the same people who talk about skateboarding as a “family”, one of the most overused words in the skate industry, are the first people to tell you that skateboarding can only be done one way (their way), traveled down one road (their road), doing one thing and they nullify anyone else from doing it the way they want to do it. Whether you like what he’s doing on the road he’s traveling or not, he’s traveling it and he’s not given up. And I respect the hell out of that. So.... What do you think? Should John be in BATB12?
