"Umi no Hi" (海の日), also known as Marine Day or Ocean Day, is a national Japanese Holiday that celebrates the blessings of the ocean and considers its importance to Japan as an island nation. Traditionally, this day marks the end of the rainy season and many families take to the beach to celebrate. While we cant exactly jet-set to Miyako-jima Island, we thought we'd bring you this virtual beach moment for us to enjoy together 💙
