Last year, just 57% of children in Nigeria were fully vaccinated for serious diseases like diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis. 2.5 million children received no vaccines at all - the highest number in the world.⠀ ⠀ Today, this already fragile health system is facing a new threat. The #COVID19 pandemic is severely disrupting immunizations in Nigeria, leaving even more children at risk of measles and other contagious diseases.
