Man.....I learned my lesson WAY before Jan 2009 that we might be a country that could actually go AGAINST its own benefit....at this point it’s figuratively (& literally) a sickness. Follow my bol @seekaychin (food god of Austin) & share his post. It’s gettin frustrating rererererepostng “put a mask on” “social distance/don’t stand too close to one another” “reasons why this is the most corrupt administration ever”.....I mean at this rate I’m preaching to the choir right?

I was speaking to my mom about how frustrating it is to see conflict regarding something that should be so seemingly unanimous. She reminded me of a Chinese proverb: 不見棺材不掉淚 ( 𝙸𝚏 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚍𝚘𝚎𝚜𝚗’𝚝 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚏𝚏𝚒𝚗, 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚠𝚘𝚗’𝚝 𝚜𝚑𝚎𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚢 𝚝𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚜.) It’s a shame we are so often blinded by our own arrogance. That instead of learning from each other’s pain; we insist on choosing to experience it for ourselves. This illusion of invincibility is hubris. We are better than this. Let’s not let all the misery thus far be in vain. There are those who are suffering and fighting for us, so that we won’t have to. Lead with love. Learn through empathy. Whether you like it or not, we’re all in this together. We need to start acting like it.
