デヴィッド・ボウイさんのインスタグラム写真 - (デヴィッド・ボウイInstagram)「In May 1975, the same month that Tom Kelley took his famous shots of David Bowie, Steve Schapiro captured a series of remarkable images in a twelve-hour session that saw Bowie wearing a collection of new outfits posed in front of various studio backgrounds and outside locations, giving the impression of several sessions from different periods. Though Schapiro went on to photograph Bowie several more times, it was this session that was the most productive, creating stunning magazine covers from that moment on. Indeed, we may have to post a part two of his pictures and there are more than enough publications featuring his Bowie covers to post an album of those alone. Many of the photographs are collected in the superb David Bowie: Photographs by Steve Schapiro book, from where, this from Steve regarding aforementioned session: "That day it seemed Bowie was trying out all kinds of characters, costumes, and ideas to see which would work best for future projects. I'm certain he was already well into his thinking about The Man Who Fell To Earth. He called me later to work on that project as well, which resulted for me in album covers for Station to Station and Low. I got calls in November 1975 from Bowie to photograph him on the Cher show." #RandomBowie  #BowieSchapiro」7月20日 8時23分 - davidbowie
