John Lewis.
What a man and what a life.
When I was filming my documentary ‘This American Journey’ back in 2008 we visited Selma and did the drive to Montgomery.
To think what happened on that route in 1965 blew my mind.
Alongside #MLK, #JohnLewis was instrumental in seeking equality for all.
And he never gave up.
Never.
Now there’s a life worth living...
Rest In Peace sir.
