Getting the body back to prepregnancy shape is very hard and sometimes a very long journey for many women (I know as I’ve coached thousands of them over the years, but it can be done with patience, persistence, consistency and a positive attitude regarding ANY progress as a victory, not looking for perfection overnight. One thing I learned is my body is capable of so much more than I had ever thought before but I have to treat it kindly and patiently to achieve the results I desire. It has taken me over six months to finally feel myself but remember, I only gained about 40 lbs while pregnant, worked out the entire time, I ate healthy often and even ate vegan the last three months due to cholestasis of pregnancy and I started training and dieting 4-6 weeks postpartum.
