Not too long ago we posted @annamonique1 and her first attempts at 360° flips. Personally, I think it’s one of the hardest tricks in all of skateboarding. Today, man... she’s getting there. What I love about seeing her progress here is that she hasn’t given up. How many of your friends or your brother’s friends or your uncles or dudes who used to go to your school have quit skateboarding because they couldn’t Ollie or kickflip? I’ve seen so many big, sturdy dudes go down because they couldn’t get past a few barriers. I’ve seen a lot of those same dudes and then some try to discourage girls from continuing to skate because they don’t have as much power as the guys. Some dudes who will probably comment here something like “why am I not on the berrics?” Or “would you post me if I did this?” The same dudes who probably grow up to be cops just so they can control more aspects of people’s lives than just their skating. Dudes who always end up being the dumbest dudes in the room. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Skateboarding is not easy. I respect anyone who continues to do it despite the thousands of barriers in front of them. love when I see this kind of persistence. I respect it in any skater and... ya know what, maybe even more for girls who weigh 103lbs and aren’t afraid to keep pushing despite some of you dbags out there. - sb #skateboardingisfun #berrics
