Did you know rice originated in Africa? When Europeans landed on the continent on the west coast they were amazed at all the varieties and abundance of rice and grains. They asked the agricultural experts how it was done . They then captured them , enslaved the people and brought them to an island off the coast of South Carolina . We know them as Gullah Geechee . I’m so grateful for their expertise and the skills . We know that rice originated in Africa and now this beautiful red grain grows in Thailand . It’s infused with aromatics I brought back from my trip to ZANZIBAR on spice island . I fell in love with the Zanzibar chili 🌶 pepper and now grow it on my farm .
