What is Homeward Live? Homeward Live is an online series hosted weekly every Thursday evening from July 16th to Aug 13th (6pm PST/9pm EST), in which professional actors perform true stories from individuals who have been homeless. These stories are drawn from Homeward LA, an impactful annual theater event in Los Angeles that has been inspiring the community to take action to alleviate homelessness. Taking place on Facebook Live, each episode will showcase one story followed by a live and candid conversation with the real person whose story has been told, exploring their journeys and where their lives are now. Viewers will experience the power, the thoughtfulness, and in many cases, the humor of these stories, and have the unique opportunity to hear directly from people who have experienced homelessness personally.
