A crane driven elevator being lowered some 200 feet under ground into Chicago’s Tunnel And Reservoir Project (TARP). This series of tunnels is designed to contain storm water, flood water and sewage from entering into Lake Michigan and is capable of holding 8 billion gallons where it can then be treated.
