I've always had a passion for fashion and had the opportunity to be a TV correspondent for several networks while also producing content. I'm a huge music fan with my love beginning early in my pre-teens. When I was 13 years old, my friends and I used to go to a club called Einstein’s A Go-Go in Jax Beach. It was a special place that was a springboard for many bands like R.E.M., The Flaming Lips, Nirvana, and 10,000 Maniacs where we could listen to music all night long. I love to sing and I’m a classically trained vocalist. I always like to go back to albums of old, as my first record was the Violent Femmes. I always wanted to have a vast music library. During this time of Covid-19, I've enjoyed going for a drive in the car, listening to profound lyrics while reminiscing about my life with my parents. Recently I’ve been getting into a lot of Motown as my husband is a huge Bruce Springsteen fan. My favorites range from The Cocteau Twins, Florence and The Machine, Bjork, 10,000 maniacs, The Smiths, The Cure, Smashing Pumpkins to Dolly Parton, Sade, Marvin Gaye, and BB King. My choice of music depends on my mood. I get energized and vent frustrations to Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, Gossip or The Killers for a workout. I think music should be experimental and is better raw. I’ve seen Mary J Blige 3-4 times as she’s one of the few singers who sound amazing without any revisions. But probably my all-time favorite singer is David Bowie not only for his music but ability to break barriers for his time. I think in these monumental times we need to be discussing social injustices and seeking truths.Regardless of your political affiliation, religious denomination, race, gender, sexual orientation, or whether you prefer dogs over cats, all opinions and decisions should be based on a sense of humanity, compassion, empathy, and love. And the greatest of all is LOVE. Recently, I’ve learned to take more time for myself sitting in quiet meditation, furthering my prayer life, which is of utmost importance. @epeak_music」7月16日 8時42分
