Traditionally The Parade is held on June 4th, each year. The day commemorates King Charles II’s decision to build The Hospital in 1682. Due to lockdown the Parade was postponed and took place today. The Duchess was able to attend and review The Pensioners on procession. The Royal Hospital was created to provide a home, with comradeship and high standards of care for veterans in later life. Today, The Royal Hospital is home to nearly 300 pensioners, both men and women who have all served in The British Army.」7月16日 4時14分
