A week ago my girlfriend Molly and I were heading home from Northern California and, while stopping for gas halfway to LA, we spotted a big dog running near the freeway. Clearly panicked from the fireworks going off all over the damn place (because it was July 3rd and everyone’s a dick I guess), the sweet sweety wouldn’t come near me, no matter how much of our dog Ronni’s food and treats I offered. Long story short, we gave chase in and out of my truck until dusk - the dog finally took off for good and disappeared. I was about to drive off when Molly said, “Stop! There’s another one!” Running out in front of us was this floppy little pup. I got out and hurried to him - he playfully rolled onto his back and wagged his tail as I picked him up. The little guy had no collar, tags, or a chip (we’ve since learned) - but did carry some fleas, ticks, and both his balls. Longer story medium, we took him home, cleaned him up, and he’s ours now. This is Luglio (loo-lee-oh). It’s Italian for “July.” We’ll always be thankful to that big dodgy doggo that brought us to him. Fate. Hope that pooch got home safe. Luglio’s big sister Ronni loves him as much as we do and we’re overjoyed that he chose us to be his family... until we have kids and stop giving a shit about our dogs lol jk brb lololmao. ❤️」7月11日 8時19分
